Trump In Complete Crisis Over Epstein Email
Michael Wolff explains how the Jeffrey Epstein email deluge has left the president uncharacteristically mute and visibly cornered.

President Donald Trump’s biographer says the president is struggling to cope with the fallout from this week’s release of thousands of Jeffrey Epstein’s emails.
Michael Wolff, whose relationship with Epstein has been widely publicized due to the sex offender’s advice, said on the “Trump Head” podcast that Trump is “in a complete panic” following the leaks.
For example, in a 2018 email, Epstein wrote that he could “take down Trump.” The following January, Epstein wrote to Wolff that Trump “must have known about the girls, since he asked Ghislaine [Maxwell] to stop.”
“This has frustrated him tremendously for a very long time,” Wolff told co-host Joanna Coles. “I think the fact that this has all come to light is completely freaking him out… He’s completely lost. He’s messed up completely.” “
Wolf said he didn’t think the 79-year-old Trump had any plan to address the problem.
“I think he doesn’t have a strategy. I don’t think he has a clear vision. I think he feels cornered right now,” he said. “I get the impression that White House officials are panicking. They don’t know the truth. Don’t forget, White House officials are aware of the political risks involved.”
Wolf added that the White House isn’t mobilizing its available resources to review the emails, in part because no one wants to be “at the center of the criticism,” while Trump is urging everyone to move on from the Epstein scandal.

“In my experience, believing that the U.S. government and the White House have unlimited resources is a monumental mistake,” Wolf concluded.
“They don’t know who is responsible.” “And nobody wants to take responsibility because it exposes you. You’ll be held accountable,” Wolff added. “I don’t know if they’ve finally put a mechanism in place. I don’t think so.” I remember other crises in the Trump White House where everything spiraled out of control instead of everyone pulling together to deal with it.
“The first time, it led to the Mueller investigation,” Wolff added, referring to the scandal that defined much of Trump’s first term. “So I think it’s highly likely that nobody will do anything.”
When contacted for comment, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung told The Daily Beast, “The only person who’s panicking is Michael Wolff, because he appears to be acting as a PR agent for his friend Jeffrey Epstein. The Daily Beast and Joanna Coles are also panicking about hiring a convicted felon, Michael Wolff.”

Wolff, who had interviewed Epstein years earlier, defended his method of working as a consultant to the convicted sex offender to obtain valuable information.
“I have absolutely no regrets,” Wolff told Coles. “I would do it exactly the same way again. That’s how it works.” “Again, I was the only one loudly proclaiming that the central issue was Donald Trump’s relationship with this monster.”
“You have to be both perceptive and patient to grasp two contradictory truths: that Jeffrey Epstein was a monster, but that he also had important things to say.”
