James Carville Predicts When Trump Will Quit Presidency
The former Bill Clinton strategist thinks Trump won’t finish out his term.

Political strategist James Carville has expressed his conviction that President Donald Trump’s days in the White House are numbered.
In a video produced for Politicon and released on Monday, Carville—aged 81—asserted that Trump—79—would not remain in the presidency for long, arguing that “everything he attempts to undertake ends up backfiring on him.”
Carville predicted: “I tell you, I think he will simply resign outright by this time next year. I suspect he will just walk away from his post—leaving everything behind—because the Democrats now control both the House of Representatives and the Senate.”

The results of the midterm elections do not look promising for the Republican Party, with Democrats maintaining a slight lead in the most recent polls, according to statistics compiled by The New York Times.
The renowned Democratic strategist continued: “No one will pay any attention to him anymore. The country’s financial situation has hit rock bottom—and has even sunk well below it. As for the Iran issue, it has turned into a disaster of the first order.”

Since U.S. and Israeli forces began conducting joint airstrikes against Iran on February 28, this global conflict has had a negative impact on the President’s public image.
According to U.S. Central Command, thirteen American soldiers have been killed since the outbreak of this conflict, while more than 200 others have been wounded.
Six American soldiers lost their lives on March 1 after an Iranian drone—in a retaliatory attack—targeted a mobile operations center at the port of Shuwaikh, Kuwait. Separately, six other soldiers lost their lives following the crash of a KC-135 refueling aircraft in Iraq on Thursday—a fact confirmed by the U.S. Department of Defense (the Pentagon).
On March 2, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz, triggering a massive surge in oil prices. Americans bore the full brunt of the war’s consequences and its direct impact at the pump: the national average price per gallon of gasoline soared to $3.80—an increase of nearly a dollar compared to its price just one month earlier, when it stood at $2.94.

Last week, Carville good-naturedly embraced the diagnosis leveled against him—namely, that he suffers from “Trump Derangement Syndrome”—declaring: “I don’t want to be cured; I want to get worse.”
In another video clip produced by Politicon and released on March 7, Carville asserted: “You’re right! I absolutely suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome; I hate that damn bastard. In fact, I want to hate him even more. And I pray to God that I do.”
The Louisiana native launched a scathing attack against “that fat damn Trump,” faulting him for having started a war in Iran without congressional approval and for having appointed “damn incompetent clowns” to head federal agencies. On this subject, he stated: “Pray for those struggling to get by in life.
Pray for those paying more for their gas because of a damn stupid war—a war for which he hasn’t even explained to us why we’re fighting it. In fact, he still doesn’t know himself—damn it!” — why we are over there, exactly.”
In a statement, White House Press Secretary Olivia Wells declared: “James Carville is the very embodiment of failure; he clearly suffers from a severe and debilitating condition known as ‘Anti-Trump Delusion Syndrome.’ President Trump is the undisputed leader of the Republican Party, and he is committed to preserving the Republican majority in Congress in order to continue delivering successes for the American people. The President was elected with an overwhelming mandate to repeal the disastrous policies that prevailed during the Biden era and to usher in a new era of prosperity for our country. Clearly, he has kept his promises to the American people by securing the border, bringing inflation under control, cutting taxes for the working class, forging new trade agreements, negotiating lower prices for prescription drugs, attracting billions of dollars in investment, and adopting ‘Peace Through Strength’ policies that eliminate security threats facing our nation. No one could possibly oppose all these achievements accomplished for the American people—with the exception of mentally unbalanced Democrats like James Carville.”
