Trump Bangs Out 488 Words of Rage After SCOTUS Shame
The self-soothing post came out soon after Trump abruptly left the court after a brutal reality check by his conservative justices.

Donald Trump sought to mitigate the fallout from a humiliating court hearing regarding “birthright citizenship” by launching a scathing 488-word verbal attack centered on the issue of funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Shortly after abruptly storming out of the courtroom—right in the middle of a heated confrontation that served as a harsh reality check, administered by the very conservative judges he himself had appointed—he rushed to social media in an attempt to regain his composure and vent his fury.

His initial post—published immediately following his tumultuous exit, even while the hearing was still underway—was steeped in vitriol; notably, it contained the false claim that the United States is the only country in the world to grant birthright citizenship: a right guaranteeing that anyone born within national borders automatically acquires citizenship.
Minutes later, however, Trump unleashed a torrent of lengthy, irate statements. He began by expressing his affection for law enforcement and concluded with a ferocious attack on Joe Biden’s border policies, while the core of his message revolved around a new initiative aimed at securing necessary funding for immigration enforcement agents.

Trump asserted: “Unlike Republicans, Democrats want to DEFUND the Police, Border Patrol, and all Immigration Enforcement. They want to allow Criminals, the Mentally Insane, and Lunatics from all over the World to come into our Country, totally unvetted and unchecked, putting Americans in serious danger,”
He added: “That’s why we are going forward to fund our incredible ICE Agents and Border Patrol through a process that doesn’t need Radical Left Democrat votes, and bypasses the Senate Filibuster (which should be repealed, IMMEDIATELY!), working in close conjunction with House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Leader John Thune.”
Trump concluded by declaring: “We are going to work as fast, and as focused, as possible to replenish funding for our Border and ICE Agents, and the Radical Left Democrats won’t be able to stop us.”
These comments from Trump came at the very moment when the issue of immigration was also taking center stage before the Supreme Court this Wednesday, as the Court examined a fundamental question: Are all children born on American soil entitled to automatic citizenship?
The case revolves around an executive order issued by Trump in 2025, directing federal agencies to deny citizenship to children born on American soil unless at least one parent is a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
Trump attended the hearing in person, thereby becoming the first sitting U.S. president to attend oral arguments before the nation’s highest court.

However, his presence did not appear sufficient to sway the justices, most of whom seemed skeptical regarding his attempts to repeal and amend the law.
Among these judges were those he himself had appointed—Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch—who barraged the administration’s Solicitor General, John Sauer, with a barrage of questions and incisive inquiries, while the President observed the proceedings from the front row of the public gallery.
However, after approximately 90 minutes, Trump abruptly left the courtroom to return to the White House, where he subsequently expressed his sentiments and position on social media.
In a post on “Truth Social” written after his return to the White House, he wrote: “We are the only country in the World STUPID enough to grant citizenship solely by birthright!” With this message, Trump glossed over the fact that dozens of other nations across the globe grant citizenship at birth without imposing any preconditions.
A few minutes later, he posted a tweet regarding the new budgetary allocation for immigration law enforcement.
By lending his support to a new bill aimed at funding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as well as border agents, Mr. Trump effectively aligns himself with a two-part plan passed by the Senate last week—a plan, however, that was rejected by House Republicans, who had reservations about splitting the funding for the Department of Homeland Security.
The department had remained shut down for a record 47 days, sowing chaos in airports across the country and forcing numerous airport employees to work without pay.
However, in a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, Mr. Trump set June 1st as the deadline for a bill to reach his desk.
He wrote: “In the meantime, we will continue to use funds from the ‘THE GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL’—which grants citizens across the country record tax refunds—to ensure that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol agents receive their pay on time and in full, just as we did unfailingly for them throughout the government ‘shutdown’ caused by the Democrats.”
He added: “Immigration enforcement operations will continue, our borders will remain secure, and no murderer, drug trafficker, or criminal of any kind will enter our country.”
