Zachary Reisacher, the latest NBA prospect from France, has confirmed his intention to enter the North America-based league's annual draft.
“I always dreamed of getting to the best league in the world,” 19-year-old forward JL Borg told ESPN on Monday.
The upstart junior is likely the top pick on June 26, according to mock drafts.
“GL Borg gave me a great opportunity to show what I can do. It was the perfect place to start my young career,” he said, referring to the move to Lago in the 2023 season -24.
The extra playing time is expected to extend to the lower end of the Betclic Elite ladder, including the French elite qualifiers. By demonstrating his talents at the continental level, he was named the BKT EuroCup Rising Star.
“I am proud to be part of this journey with my teammates and what we have achieved in the European Cup,” Reisacher said. "We really want to do something special for the rest of the season. It's been a long process with a lot of ups and downs.
"My first strength is shooting the ball. Then, my defensive ability and finally, my ability to do what is asked of me, using my versatility," described the former player's son, Stefan Reisacher, "I .I can rebound, handle the ball if need be. “Finish over the rim, pass the ball, whatever you ask me to do, I’ll do it and I’ll do it well.”
