These photos offer the public a first glimpse of this high-profile property, which was at the heart of the criminal activities of Epstein and his associates. The images show a luxurious estate, including a swimming pool and a winding stone walkway overlooking the ocean.

On a beach, a “No Trespassing” sign leans against a rock.

Epstein’s infamous island lies off the coast of St. Thomas, home to Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

While its exterior resembles a luxury resort, its interior looks more like a house. One photograph shows an office with a chalkboard labeled with the words “power,” “deception,” “conspiracy,” and “politician.” The date the photo was taken is unknown.

Other photographs show simply furnished bedrooms and bathrooms. Next to a bed are binoculars and a basic desk.

In another room, a bed stands amidst entirely white walls and furniture. The only splash of color is a herringbone rug beneath the lounge chairs.

Epstein owned two islands in the Caribbean. Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent victims, who committed suicide this year, wrote in her memoir that Epstein lured her to one of the islands to be raped by another man when she was 18.

The House Oversight Committee has requested a set of documents from U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General Gordon Rea to further its investigation into Epstein and his alleged accomplices.

Under bipartisan pressure, President Donald Trump signed a law in late December setting December 19 as the deadline for the Justice Department to release Epstein’s files.

These files must be released in a searchable and downloadable format, but redactions are permitted for the purposes of ongoing investigations, the protection of confidential information, the protection of victims, and the concealment of material related to child pornography.

Trump, a former friend of Epstein with whom he was photographed on several occasions in the 1990s and 2000s, has not commented on the release of the Epstein files by the House Oversight Committee.
