The exhibition, currently on display in New York’s upscale Tribeca neighborhood, includes thousands of printed volumes of files related to Epstein.

Miles Taylor, one of the tour organizers and a former Department of Homeland Security official who has become a Trump critic, said that visitors to the New York exhibition were “absolutely stunned” by the sheer amount of information the government held on the convicted sex offender.

“Even people with no personal connection to the subject left in tears,” he told The Daily Beast, “because, ultimately, they are confronted with the harrowing experience of sexual abuse victims recounted in this exhibit.”

The exhibit, currently on display in Lower Manhattan, a stone’s throw from the jail where Epstein’s body was found in his cell in 2019, has been drawing steady crowds since it opened on May 8.

The exhibit notably highlights the long-standing friendship between Epstein and President Donald Trump, a friendship that ended in the early 2000s. The president’s name appears thousands of times in Epstein’s files, despite his denials.

Taylor stated, “For many, the Epstein affair is just a passing fad, and I think those who visited the site suddenly became aware of the extent of the suffering endured by the victims and survivors, as well as the depth of the relationship between Trump and Epstein.”

He added, “You can have a superficial understanding of it, but when you visit the site, you discover the memorial dedicated to the survivors, the timeline of events, and the impressive amount of printed material. It’s staggering.”

Organizers plan for several celebrities to lead the bus tour across the country and have indicated they have received calls from members of Congress and congressional candidates eager to incorporate it into their campaigns.

The tour is expected to begin after July 4, but the dates and stops are still to be confirmed. Organizers hope it will continue through the 2026 midterm elections, which are shaping up to be disastrous for Republicans.

The Epstein affair has long been the one scandal the Trump administration seems unable to shake off.

For months, Trump dismissed the released documents as a “Democratic hoax” and insisted his supporters stop focusing on the deceased sex offender.

When contacted for comment on the release of the documents, White House Press Secretary Abigail Jackson stated: “As President Trump has stated, he has been completely exonerated of any involvement in the Epstein affair. By releasing thousands of pages of documents, cooperating with the House Oversight Committee following his subpoena, signing the Epstein Transparency Act, and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democratic friends, President Trump has done more for Epstein’s victims than anyone before him.”

Faced with near-unanimous and unwavering support from Congress for the release of the documents, Trump was forced to sign the law in November. Since then, the Justice Department has released 3.5 million documents, photos, and videos related to Epstein.

As the physical documents circulate across the country, Taylor said he hoped to provoke the president’s anger.

“It will make him angry,” he added, “and it will keep the case at the forefront of public debate.”
