Marjorie Taylor Greene Blasts Trump Admin As ‘Sick F**king Liars’ As Iran Strikes Divide GOP
"We voted for America First and ZERO wars,” former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said.

The joint military operation launched by the United States and Israel against Iran early Saturday morning has sown discord within the Republican Party. Some have praised President Donald Trump’s action, while others have warned of the risk of a foreign conflict for the country.
“I oppose this war. It’s not in line with the principle of ‘America First,'” said Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) on the set of the show “X.” He added that he and Representative Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) would press Congress to vote on the war. “The Constitution requires a vote, and your representative in Congress must formally state their position, for or against.”
The president announced Saturday that the United States had launched “large-scale combat operations in Iran,” which the Department of Defense dubbed “Operation Epic Rage.”
Trump appeared to be calling for regime change, encouraging the Iranian people to “take over” their government, which he accused of pursuing its nuclear program and developing missiles capable of reaching the United States.
Trump stated: “My administration is working to minimize the risks to American personnel in the region. However, and I do not say this lightly, the Iranian regime seeks to kill. Brave American heroes could lose their lives there, and we could suffer losses. This often happens in times of war. But we are not doing this for the present, but for the future. It is a noble mission.”
The president’s announcement drew criticism from conservatives, staunch defenders of the “America First” slogan.
Former Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Green sharply criticized the Trump administration in several posts on X, reminding readers that it “promised to put America first and MAGA”
One of Trump’s most ardent supporters, a former ally, wrote: “Did the Trump administration conduct a poll to find out how many casualties voters were willing to accept in a war against Iran? Zero, you bunch of liars! We voted America First, and we will not participate in any war.”
Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson also condemned the attack, calling it “disgusting and absolutely evil,” according to ABC’s Jonathan Karl.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) said that a “new preemptive war” had “begun in the Middle East,” asserting that “the Constitution gives Congress the power to declare or wage war for a just cause, namely reducing the likelihood of conflict.”
Paul wrote: “As with any war, my first instinct is to wish American soldiers safety and success in their mission. But my oath of office therefore compels me to cautiously oppose another presidential war.” “
Other members of the Republican Party, however, remained loyal to Trump, praising his speech and the attack itself.
Senator Lindsey Graham said Trump’s speech “will go down in history as the spark that ignited the most significant change in the Middle East in a thousand years.”
Graham added, “I support President Trump’s call for the Iranian armed forces, the Revolutionary Guard, and the security forces to lay down their arms. I support his call for the Iranian people to take their destiny into their own hands.” He continued, “President Trump was right when he declared himself the first president in 47 years to stand with the Iranian people and give them the support they need.”
Senator Katie Brett (R-Alabama) expressed her full support for the operation in a statement, calling it “a historic moment in President Trump’s leadership to build lasting peace.”
Representative Nancy Mees (R-SC) commented, “History will remember this night.”
She added, “President Trump understood what the weak cannot: peace is not merely pacified, it is won.”
