"Someone talked him into it, and those people should be held to account,” Kelly said.

Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly launched a scathing attack against some of the most prominent proponents of President Donald Trump’s “war” in Iran, specifically targeting individuals she claims pushed him toward the conflict.

“Stop repeating the phrase: ‘It’s President Trump’s decision,'” Kelly declared during Friday’s broadcast. “I know that much, but someone convinced him to do it—and those people must be held accountable.” She added: “As the situation takes a disastrous turn, we need to know exactly who convinced him, and what arguments or premises were put forward to persuade the President that this was a sound idea? Who? Who, specifically?”

The radio host and podcaster is among a handful of conservative figures—including Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens—who have publicly opposed Trump’s war. A poll conducted by NBC News earlier this month revealed that 90 percent of Republican voters who identify as supporters of the “MAGA” movement back the war, while a majority of voters overall oppose it.

Megyn Kelly specifically cited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, followed by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), asserting that both “bear an equal share of the responsibility” for having persuaded Trump to launch this war.

Kelly continued: “We know, thanks to a report published by The Wall Street Journal, that Fox News contributor Marc Thiessen and General Jack Keane were among the most fervent advocates for this war.” She added: “Granted, we respect these men, but it appears they were sorely mistaken in thinking this was a good idea—and we could go on to list many other names.” »

Kelly then mentioned Fox News host Mark Levin, stating: “We know that he pressured him on this matter.” (On his radio show earlier this week, Levin claimed he had “never exerted the slightest pressure on the President.”)

Kelly also cited conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, alleging that he “intervened daily on his show to promote this war.”

“There were very prominent figures on the Right who were practically beside themselves with excitement over this,” Kelly said. She concluded: “And now—as the situation not only goes south, but the President’s approval ratings plummet sharply and rapidly—we would like to see some accountability. Who? Who promised him what?”
